I've gone live with the Lending Library, as shown in the Member's Only section. There are currently roughly 5 dozen items, including SAE "Special Publications", STAPP conference proceedings, and a few books. I'll be adding a couple dozen books from my library shortly. The idea here is that NAPARS members can borrow anything for a month for the cost of shipping. If you have a UPS or Fedex account, I can ship it on that, or I can send it by whoever's cheaper at the "mail it" store. Returns are based on the honor system. Contact me at admin@NAPARS.org with any questions or comments. Peace. -W

I have uploaded 20 papers from the 1999 CMRSC XI conference to the Reference Library in the Members Only section of this website. There are a couple with actual test data that might be useful, a staged train/pickup collision, in-line skaters' speed, ABS testing with and without steering input, and some more that might provide some useful background on a particular topic like Road Rage, training, traffic calming, and heavy trucks. Enjoy. Peace. -W

ADMIN UPDATE: I have updated the ARJ INDEX to include the contents of the latest ARJ, as well as the conferences and papers that I've uploaded to the NAPARS Reference Library. It is the Excel File titled "ARJ Index with Ref Library as of 18AUG2020". It has about 3,500 line items now. I've got some more conferences to upload and add...as time allows.
    Peace. -W

The Joint Conference will be conducted as an online "virtual" conference over several sessions on dates yet to be determined. We wish it could be otherwise, but current circumstances dictate that we cancel the in-person conference. The up-side is that ALL members will have the opportunity to attend the virtual presentations and get ACTAR credits, without having to travel. More details will be coming soon. Peace. -Wade, admin.

I've sent the first batch of names to the publisher, Victor Craig, so that he can send a copy of ARJ #176 (Mar/Apr 2020) directly to everyone's email. It will be going out in the next few days. I've sent reminders to all those who have fallen off the roster from my personal email address, in hopes that the automated reminders were all shunted to a spam box somewhere. A few members have returned, but there are a couple dozen who are still MIA. Anyone who signs up in the next couple weeks can be backdated to 01 March, and get the current ARJ issue right now, while it's still fresh. Feel free to ping me directly at admin@NAPARS.ORG with any questions. Peace. -Wade, admininstrator

The annual Joint Conference on the east coast will be hosted by NAPARS for 2020 in Ocean City, Maryland in October. The combined associations boast over 1,200 professionals from the crash reconstruction profession, including both law enforcement and private consultants. This year’s conference will include expert professional breakout sessions, live crash testing and excellent networking opportunities.

NAPARS is currently soliciting professional vendor sponsors for the conference. Sponsorship will include:

       ·  A centralized and high traffic vendor table with chairs and power in the main banquet dining hall

       ·  A 15-minute presentation to the attendees showcasing your products

       ·  Product information provided to all attendees

       ·  Attendee contact list provided to all vendors

       ·  Conference attendance fee and most meals for one attendee

    All for only $399!

In addition, professional vendors also have opportunities to increase their sponsorship and exposure to attendees by adding on a bonus sponsorship with items such as logo inclusion on conference merchandise or hosting a social activity, snack break, or meal.
