SPEAKER: Our speaker will be Bill Woehrle. He has been handling tire inspections and investigations for more than 40 years. He has presented internationally, and authored training manuals on the topic. He has authored and co-authored tire-related SAE papers including "Analysis and Evaluation of the Damage and Durability Performance of Steel Belted Radial Ply Passenger Tires That Have Experienced Severe Impacts" (2012-01-0795), "Tire Traction - Matching Product & Test Technologies" (890102), and "Toward an International Standard for Measuring Energy Loss of Tires" (841239). He is the principal at Tire Forensics Investigations in Michigan ( http://tireforensics.com/ ), offering tire and vehicle inspection services to help clients understand how they relates to vehicle dynamics and crashes.
