Our Speaker: Kevin Adanty, Ph.D., is a biomechanics and engineering consultant at Biomechanical Consultants Inc., a firm serving California, Nevada, and Oregon. Before his current role, Dr. Adanty spent nearly a decade researching head injury biomechanics. His master's research focused on evaluating the effectiveness of cycling and equestrian helmets in preventing concussions, while his doctoral work examined the mechanics of the human skull and designing surrogates of the skull. https://www.seanshimada.com/home
Dr. Adanty remains actively engaged in head injury biomechanics research. Over the past eight years, he has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed manuscripts and conference proceedings in biomechanics. He has presented at numerous international conferences and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Victoria and the University of Alberta in Canada
