Examining ΔV from an EDR file with Excel

This will be an extension of the "Excel zoomie" in February, but instead of a skid-to-stop test with digital integration, we'll spend more time discussing DV and PDOF and making informative and easy to read charts.

-Finding the data in the .csv file

-Calculate total DV

-Plotting ΔVx -  ΔVy -  ΔVtotal

-Clean up the chart to suit with desired gridlines, border, scales, titles, tic marks, colors, markers, lines, labels, words

-What does ΔV tell us about the travel speed?

-Calculate PDOF over time and plot it

-Other charting tasks as time permits

-Handouts will include an Excel Shortcut cheat sheet, and a few pages regarding PDOF and the addition of acceleration vectors.
