John Meserve
President

John H. Meserve is honored to have been reelected to a second term as President of the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstructionists, Inc. He served on the organization’s Board of Directors for four years before being elected President in the fall of 2004. A NAPARS member since 1995, he is the President of Collision Forensics, LLC, a full-service accident reconstruction firm headquartered in Dover, New Hampshire, serving insurance and legal clients across the Eastern Seaboard.

Mr. Meserve has been in private practice since 1982; from 1974 to 1982 he was the Senior Traffic Accident Analyst for the New Hampshire Department of Safety, where he was involved in the investigation of more than 1,100 fatal motor vehicle accidents. John holds full accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR) and is the alternative NAPARS representative to the ACTAR Governing Board of Directors. He is a member of a number of other professional groups, including the Society of Automotive Engineers and the state accident investigation/reconstruction organizations of California, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina and Illinois; he also sits on the Content Advisory Committee of COLLISION: The International Compendium for Crash Research.

John has been active in public service outside the reconstruction community as well, serving on the City Council and as Mayor of his native city, Somersworth, New Hampshire, and representing his community in the New Hampshire House of Representatives for two terms. He is 59 years old and now resides with his wife Janice in Dover, New Hampshire. They have three sons and four grandchildren in New Hampshire and a daughter in Philadelphia.
