Lt. Charles Veppert (ret.)

Chuck served with the Ohio State Highway Patrol for more than 28 years before retiring as a Lieutenant in 2006. He was a member of OSP’s first IPTM Crash Reconstruction class when they began their Crash Reconstruction and Analysis Unit in 1989 and worked as a regional crash reconstructionist covering Northeast Ohio. He is ACTAR accredited, certified as a Federal Motor Carrier Inspector, a charter member of PSFM, and holds an associates degree from Kent State University in Criminal Justice. An active member of NAPARS since 1995, he resides in Rootstown, Ohio with his wife Joyce, and children Christopher and Shelby. Chuck has been a very active member of NAPARS, planning and supervising the NAPARS regional seminar held in Ohio during the summer or 2005. He plans to continue efforts to expand NAPARS benefits to its membership.
