Chip Johnson and his wife Cindy reside
in the New Hampshire seacoast area and have 6 children who live
around the U.S. Chip is a retired New Hampshire State Trooper. While
with the State Police, he received specialized crash reconstruction
training, and in 1984 became one of the original 3 police Reconstructionists
in the state, becoming the Assistant Commander of the State’s Reconstruction
Unit. Also during this time, he became an Adjunct Faculty member
for the University of North Florida, Institute of Police Technology
& Management (IPTM), in Jacksonville, Florida, providing crash-related
courses throughout the United States. An Accredited Reconstructionist
since 1985, Chip is also President of The Crash Lab, Inc, in Hampton,
New Hampshire. He began this corporation in 1990 upon his retirement
from law enforcement. Its 10 employees provide a variety of specialized
reconstruction skills to the company’s plaintiff and defendant clients.
Chip has been a member in good standing of NAPARS since 1991 and
was elected and has served as NAPARS Treasurer since 1993. |
