Representing the Law Enforcement Community, Officer Tom Sobolewski, Farmington, New Mexico Police Department. Tom resides in Farmington, New Mexico with his wife Kathie, twin daughters Karynne and Danielle and his son Colton. Tom is a 25 year police veteran having served with the Prince George’s County Maryland Police Department for over 20 years before retiring. After retiring , Tom continued his police career with the Farmington, New Mexico Police Department where he is currently assigned to the traffic Unit. Tom has been a traffic investigator since 1995. Tom has also worked with both the NAPARS and MATAI organizations. Tom is also a FMCSA Instructor for the Level I inspection process, Part B. While this is the first board position Tom has held, in addition to the normal board duties, he hopes to provide NAPARS with the ability to increase membership in the southwest area.
